We've done it again!
We've won the Community Event of the Year 2005, that's two years in a row.
The Gippsland Motorcyclists Christmas Toy run is organised by a combination of the Eastern Riders, Us and Them Tourers and Gippsland Central Ulysses.
Once a month, from June the organising committee , comprising, Alf and Stella Vella, Eastern Riders, Joanne Creighton, Us and Them Tourers, a police represtentative, Latrobe City representative, Bill and Sue Roberts, Roger Vanstan and Robbie Batten, Gippsland Central Ulysses meet to develop the Toy run.
Each of the motorcycle groups , through their representative
gain sponsorship from businesses. throughout the City of Latrobe.
Joanne, Us and Them Tourers developed the Latrobe Valley Schools input,
Eastern Riders the corporate sponsorships, Gippsland Central Ulysses,
road management and small business sponsorship.
The three clubs work equaly together for the benefit of the disadvantaged children within the Latrobe Valley.
All other motorcyclists band with us to make the Toy run so successful on the day.

Congratulations bikers on obtaining recognition as a united group. Latrobe City decided that the Gippsland Motorcyclists Christmas Toy Run be awarded the Community Event of the Year 2004. The following pictures were taken at the award ceremony at Latrobe City's official Australia Day ceremony at Kernot Hall.
Three motorcycle groups collaborated to put the Toy Run together and they are: Ulysses, Us and Them Tourers and Eastern Riders.
